My mom brought me up with the premise
“surround yourself with good people, and
you’re bound to do great things.”
WCMEA is just
that “ a group of good people that do
extraordinary things!”
Each of you
performs a duty not often respected until
your talents are put to use. Almost daily I
hear “I don’t know how you can do that job…I
couldn’t” They’re right, they probably
couldn’t, or I would be writing this to
them. We , on the other hand, pick up the
pieces of devastation every time we are
called. We do it because we love what we do.
(How ever twisted we may be)
We have a pride,
compassion and professionalism like none
other. As the 2nd vice president and
chairman of your membership committee, I
have taken an introspective evaluation of
what my position entails. Bottom line…. I’m
here for you. I am the ear of your
expectations.
In the upcoming
weeks, I will post a questionnaire asking
“Not what you can do for our association,
but what your association can do for
you”…Wait. I’ve heard that some where
before… Feel free to answer freely…”Anything
you say will not be used against you in a
court…Wait! I’ve heard that too!!!
Without you
input, I can’t meet your expectations. So,
here’s your chance to let it all
out…Together, a strong association can and
will, do great things!
Carry on….
